Adam likes for things to be very precise. If you were to do something at five o'clock, he will wonder at 5:01 why you are not doing it.
Sunday afternoon when we were visiting Mother, we talked about James and Rene's vacation. They went to various places in Pennsylvania and West Virginia, including Johnstown, PA, the site of the big flood.
Someone asked me what the date of that flood was. I said I thought it was 80 years ago, about 1930.
Adam popped up: Wha Wha, that is wrong. If it was 80 years ago, it would be 1926.
In any case, I was wrong, very wrong. The date of the Johnstown flood is 1889.
