I have to add that it was a very satisfying win. A player on the other team was on our team last year but his parents decided to put him back into the draft so he could have another coach and "develop" his baseballl skills. Now, he is a good player but this is an under 8 league-not even the minors!! So I think this was especially gratifying to the coach. It was wonderful and we tried to emphasize to the boys how big a deal this was. Who knows if they will ever be a part of something like this again. Sports in Nolensville are really cutthroat.

By the way, did I say that Adam caught a pop fly out in left field! It was a beauty of a catch. He had to reach and reach all the way to the ground but it went right in.
